Just needed a script that lets me, for example, press trigger halfway and hold it there to start auto-clicking, then it just stops if I press the trigger fully or let go.
Especially since when I spam trigger, my controller moves as well, which more often than not results in my controller's cursor/pointer often missing the button in question, especially when said button is tiny.įor example, some menus where you have a value for some option or setting that has small +/- buttons on each side of the value.
I work with a lot of UIs in SteamVR using my Oculus Rift's Touch controllers, and sometimes having to spam the trigger in a menu to increase or decrease a value can be a pain, especially if I want/need to achieve much higher/lower values which might take me a bit to do by hand.
